Fast and Furious with Black Chalk Pre-Folded Cards and a Giveaway!
Hello there CutCardStock.com fans. WHOOOT!! It’s a great day for me today. Let me tell you, things have gotten crazy here in the Larsen household and I’m excited to share this post with you today, because its good for all of us! I started today off with great intentions today (like we all do) and then of course everything got into a jam and I needed some cards ASAP. I want to share with you a little something, so you can see how fast and furious your card making can get.
Have you ever used these pre folded black chalk cards? I am tempted by them all the time and then I wonder, what will I ever do with these?! Well, Amber sent me some to play with and I realised the only thing missing with these babies is Color! So I grabbed a pack of Pop-Tones card stock and a few sentiment die cuts and set to making these black cards fun and colourful!
I started by die cutting a few sentiments in each color. You can make this fast by doubling up on the card stock. The Pop-Tone card stock isn’t too thick, so you can cut through 2 pieces by just running it through a few times. Easy!
They were so pretty, I had to take a shot of them!
Then it was just a matter of adhering them to the card stock base in various ways. I think the HELLO one is my favorite.
But I love a smile too! 🙂
By alternating how you adhere the sentiments you can keep your creative juices flowing and not feel like you are a card machine!
I love this one… it reminds me of a 70’s commercial logo or something. I think its somewhere in my subconscious, but I’m not sure. I can almost hear it going “booooiiiiiiiing” as it comes speeding down the page. Ok, I’m weird.
And that’s it! Fast and furious for sure. These babies went together fast and I think they are a fun way to send love to a friend. The black really makes the colors pop. You can’t help but smile when you look at them! And I have wrapped them all up with some envies to make it a great gift to give.
Be sure to check out the store for all the deals going on this month. We are so excited to start up another design team term. Glad you are here with us!
Until next time, just keep on crafting!
xoxo

My favorite thing about the fall are all the apple and pumpkin foods.. I live in Arizona and unfortunately we don't have all the beautiful leaves..
