Rainbow Dots Square Birthday Card
I love to build up a little stash of birthday cards to keep on hand…. I especially love making square cards and combining cardstock from CutCardStock and patterned paper from my stash. Here’s a bright and cheery square birthday card that is great to keep around for an unexpected (or forgotten) birthday!
Supplies:
Basis Red 8 1/2 x 11
Pop Tones Orange Fizz 8 1/2 x 11
Pop Tones Gumdrop Green 8 1/2 x 11
Curious Metallic Cryogen White
Rainbow Dots patterned paper
Scallop punch, circle punch
Birthday sentiment stamp, ink
adhesive
ribbon & button
I first created a card base by cutting the Gumdrop Green to 5 1/2 x 11. I added a slightly smaller square of patterned paper. I love the choices of square envelopes offered at CutCardStock!
I made a banner piece and cut a tail on the end, then attached it to the card base.
I stamped the sentiment on Cryogen White and then cut it out with a scalloped punch. I created a larger circle mat by punching a circle from Basis Red.
I assembled the card and added the bit of ribbon and a button for a little accent!
