Spring is in the air, so today I have a bright and cheery little card to share with all of you. This little nugget is a finished size of 4 1/4″ square.
Supplies:
Curious Metallic Virtual Pearl, 8.5 x 11
Curious Metallic Mandarin, 8.5 x 11
patterned paper from SEI Claire collection
Bright orange ribbon
Also: scissors, scoring tool, adhesive and dimensional adhesive
Simple Steps:
Cut your cardstock and paper:
Card base is from Pearl, cut to 8 1/2 x 4 1/4; score in half (4 1/4) on long side to make a square base
Mandarin accent cut to 3 3/8 x 3 3/8
Focal patterned paper cut to 3 1/4 x 3 1/4
Attach the focal paper to the mandarin accent piece. Add the ribbon and tie with a knot or bow — whatever gives you a whirl!
In my leftover chunk of patterned paper, I found a flower that I wanted to cut out and use as an embellishment.
Attach the assembled patterned front to the card base and add a few dimensionals on your hand-cut accent piece.
