We would like to share a couple of Cards Created by Designer Traci Patena from Newark, Ohio.
Here is a little information about Traci:
“My name is Traci, and I’m a stay-at-home Mommy to Sophia. In my former life, I taught 5th grade. I’ve been scrapbooking since 2000 and would love to share my hobby w/ you to help preserve your family’s memories. I find my creative inspirations in lots of places–sometimes magazines or sketches, new fads (like Amy Butler papers!), and even from my daughter (just made her a Dora altered lunch tin).
Lately, I’ve ventured into the world of custom invitations and party supplies after not being able to find exactly what I was looking for elsewhere.
As for custom invitations, I love knowing that my creative touch is helping to make someone else’s special day absolutely perfect. I really work hard to make sure that my invitations are exactly what you’re looking for whether they’re for birthdays, weddings, etc. I’m now venturing out to include other party supplies like banners, cupcake toppers, napkin rings, placecards, thank you notes, etc., so you can truly have a matching customized party!”
Traci created a card using our Curious Metallics. She actually created this card using some of the small samples from the Sample pack we send with each of our orders. Traci wrote the following about the card that she created: ” –fall-themed card using their white blank notecard along with matted layers of Red Lacquer, Cognac, and Serpentine metallic cardstocks. I then used leaf diecuts in the various colors above plus Olive and Antique Gold to create this classic, elegant fall card. These pictures really do not do justice to this beautiful metallic paper. The sheen really dresses up the card, and I think it could be perfect for fall-themed wedding cards. It’s finished off with a ribbon by Stampin’ Up.”

Traci also created a Card using the Astrobright Folded Note Cards. She used the Stardust White, a very popular color with its white background and flecks of confetti like colors.
Here is what Traci wrote about this particular card: ” –spring/ summer handstamped butterfly card using the white blank notecard from cutcardstock.com along with matted layers of Hot Chocolate and Blue Raspberry cardstocks. I then handstamped butterflies using various spring/ summer ink colors onto their white cardstock before punching the butterflies out w/ a square punch and adhering them to the matted layers. The card is completed with a polka dot ribbon from Stampin’ Up and a birthday sentiment.'”
