Purse with Butterflies
Hey everybody, happy Tuesday and welcome to November! Can you believe it?! I’ve had lots of playtime with my Cricut and have cut a bunch of cut files. Leslie here, and I’m sharing one of those with you today – a purse with butterflies. This purse is FULL of butterflies. If you are a fan of butterflies, then you’re going to love this. I have used quite a variety of our cardstock which I will outline below. So let’s get started!

Cut the Pieces
I started with Stardream Metallic Mars for the purse base, handles and inserts. Lessebo White and Rubber Ducky for the daisies. Flamingo, Orange Zest, Tartan Red, Basis Dark Orange, and Pop Tone Black Licorice for the butterflies. And Bright Silver Foil for the handle hardware and zipper. The Basis Dark Orange is no longer in stock but any dark orange cardstock would work. Also used coordinating patterned papers from my stash.

Assemble the Purse
First, assemble the front, including the envelope that will be tucked into the pocket. The envelope can hold a gift card, cash, a handwritten note, or a small card.

Secondly, assemble the two inserts.

Finally, assemble the back; there are pieces to adhere to both sides.

Complete the Purse with Butterflies
To finish up, insert a gift card into the envelope (or whatever you choose) and tuck the envelope into the pocket.

Lastly, add a birthday sentiment and place to sign on the back. I die cut a stitched circle from, 80# Solar White and stamped a sentiment in red ink.

Summing up, these are the other products I used:
PAPER: Carta Bella Flora No. 6 Collection Kit
STAMPS: Stampin’ Up Birthday Blossoms stamp set
INK: Memento Rhubarb Stalk ink
DIES/PUNCHES: My Scrap Chick Purse Full of Butterflies SVG cut file, Love From Lizi Stitched Circle Nested Cutting Dies
ACCESSORIES: Cricut Explore Air 2, My Sweet Petunia Precision Glue Press, Bearly Art precision craft glue, Mini MISTI, Big Shot, Scrapbook Adhesives Thin 3D Foam Squares
