Love & Thanks Postcard Style
Hey everybody! I hope your new year has started off on a nice note and it’s not too cold where you are. Leslie here, sharing a tutorial for making a love & thanks postcard. A postcard, you say? Well, we need to thank those who sent Christmas gifts, so I thought this would be a fun way to do it! I used Neenah Classic Crest Epic Black and Beetle Black paired with Savoy Brilliant White Cotton. Also used Silk Glitter Opulent Opal and 80# Solar White. I recently won these Thinlits in a giveaway and I really wanted to use them even though the Christmas season is over. 😉

Ink Background
Start by inking a piece of Savoy Brilliant White Cotton cardstock with a variety of Ranger distress inks. Punch a 1-3/4″ circle into masking paper and ink the moon with fossilized amber and vintage photo distress inks. Next, mask off the moon with the punched circle and ink the sky with stormy sky, prize ribbon and villainous potion.

Add Details to Background
Cut the inked panel with a stitched rectangle die. Afterwards, die cut the star trail directly into the inked panel and back it with a Silk Glitter Opulent Opal scrap. Finally, splatter some Copic opaque white paint over the panel.

Die Cut Elements for Love & Thanks Postcard
Using a postage edge rectangle die, cut the postcard base from Neenah Classic Crest 130# Epic Black.
Also, die cut three Santas with reindeer and a cityscape from Beetle Black.

Adhere Elements
Project assembly is always the most fun and I loved watching this one come to life. Adhere the cityscape, trim it and run the panel back through the Big Shot with the stitched rectangle die.
Stack the three Santas and reindeer for dimension and adhere them in the sky.

Add Stamping & Complete Love & Thanks Postcard
Lastly, stamp the sentiments on the front and back in black ink. This will complete your postcard.

Summing up, these are the other products I used:
