Daisy Gable Box

Spring is in full bloom, and it’s time to start planning all of those garden parties you’ve been looking forward to having. Baby showers, weddings and spring birthdays are a perfect time to decorate! Don’t forget those important gift ideas for these events – you won’t have to worry about running out of time to make one, because this idea is quick and beautiful.

I have a gift box idea that is great for gift-giving or prizes at a shower. It is simple because I’m starting with a pre-assembled gable box. These are sturdy box ideas for gifts, favors and even candy or food. When you pair this with the CutCardStock colors in all the “garden” variety, you will have a winning combination!

I’ve cut side panels in Granny Smith Green at the same size as my box along with a bow from an old die cut that I own. You can also use many of the bows you can find on design libraries for your electronic cutting machines.

I assembled the bow by folding it over and gluing in the middle, and then attaching the ends to the back. Glue the panels to each side of the box and the bow to the front flap. In the middle, I added a plastic flower button for additional flair.

Next, I cut two large daisy panels from a die cut I own. The bottom layer is done in Pop Tone Sweet Tooth, and the top layer in a patterned polka dot. This is a common shape you can find on electronic cutting machines. I curled the petals to make them 3D.

Adhere the daisies together, and then again on the front of the box. I used the Pop Tone Sweet Tooth again for the stamped sentiment, and cut it out with a circle die cut. Then this is attached to the middle of the daisy, and the daisy is attached to the box with glue along with a lady bug sticker.

You are ready to give this to someone special! For an added idea, you can use CutCardStock shred for filler in your boxes too. Give this a try next time with a fringe scissors or even a paper shredder. What a great way to get rid of scraps in your storage box! If you like this project, don’t hesitate to pin it to your “must try” boards on Pinterest. Thanks for stopping by!
