Slimline Gold Congratulations Card

Hey there! It’s Judy here with a quick and easy slimline gold congratulations card project using 2 metallic cardstocks and 2 dies. CutCardStock has some beautiful gold and silver card stock on special this month! I bet it will help you create something that will look great and truly be appreciated by the recipient.

For my project today, I used Classic Linen 84 lb Gold Pearl 8.5×11 Card Stock, Stardream Metallic GOLD 105 lb Cardstock and Basis WHITE 80lb Cardstock.

My 9 x 4 inch slimline card base was made with the Basis White. I covered the front with a 9 x 4 inch piece of the Classic Linen card stock.

Next, I took a piece of 8 1/2 x 3/12 inch piece of the Curious Metallic card stock and die cut one end with a border die. A smaller piece was used to die cut the sentiment.

Layers were built by adding the border piece of Curious Metallic and a 3 3/8 x 6 3/8 inch piece of the Classic Linen.

A piece of 5 3/8 x 2 3/8 inch piece of Basis White was layered next. The finishing touches were the sentiment and some of the small stars that were from the border.
