Greetings, Crafty Friends. I have been loving cards created using rainbow strips! Several designers, including Jennifer McGuire, have posted examples!

I ended up with 4 total examples of these fun striped cards! The first I completed was the Celebrate card. I later learned the die was no longer available, so I added another example using the letter Hugs.

I started by cutting multiple colors of PopTone Cardstock into 1/4 inch strips. Colors used are Grape Jelly, Grapesicle, Blue Rasberry, Limeade, Orange Fizz, LemonDrop, and Silver Glitter.

Check out the video to see how I assembled this card.

Here is the base I created using the 1/4 inch strips of multiple colors.

The final cut out is mounted on a piece of Bazzil Marble Paper. The stars were cut with a Stampin’ Up star die.

This is the bonus card I created using the leftover letters. The base is on an A7 card using the Blue Rasberry paper. I ink blended over the top of HoneyBeeStamps Geometric stencil with Distress Ink. The frame was cut using a Poppy Stamps Double Stitch Rectangle Die.

Here is the example using Hero Arts Rectangle Infinity Die along with Simon Says Stamp Hugs die. I dry embossed the base using the Honey Bee Stamps Geometric Stencil.

Here is the final example. The base is Dolphin Gray Cardstock. I then used the following Poptone colors: Grape Jelly, Grapesicle, Blue Rasberry, Razzleberry and Silver Glitter to create the stripes. I used a black scrap piece to cut the Hello.

Check out this video to see the process.

I used the My Favorite Things Tag Corner Rectangle Die and the Fancy Hello die from Altenew. The sentiment is from Taylored Expressions Sentiment Strips.
