Hello, everyone! I’m so happy to be sharing my card with you today. I am absolutely thrilled with how it turned out.
To begin I cut a 3.75” x 5” panel from a dark brown sheet of paper from the Core’dinations Bountiful Harvest paper pack.
Using some basic leaf stamps I used Versamark Watermark ink and Ranger embossing powders in Copper Tinsel, Gold Tinsel, and Silver Tinsel to heat emboss some beautiful metallic leaves. I think they look quite striking against the dark brown background.
Next, I cut a 4”x 5.25” panel from the Cut Card Stock gold glitter paper. I thought it would make the gold leaves pop.
I adhered the brown panel to the gold panel.
Then I adhered the entire card front to a card base I made using the Martha Stewart Beetle Black Textured cardstock.
Next, I die cut a simple ‘hello’ sentiment from Bazzill Basics Paper foil cardstock in Rose Gold as well as from a sheet of adhesive backed foam.
I glued the rose gold sentiment on top of the foam sentiment.
Finally, I adhered the sentiment to the center of the card. I love how that little bit of dimension adds some great interest to the card.
I think that this may be my favorite fall card I’ve made yet and I hope that you like it as well. Thank you so much for stopping by to read through my tutorial. If you’re interested you can find me on Facebook, at my blog, or over on Instagram. I hope that you have a wonderful day.
