Birthday Card with Watercolor Background
Happy new week, my crafty friends! Hope you are enjoying the last weeks of summer. I’d like to share with you the birthday card I made for my son, who turned six last week.
First I made the watercolor background with the Strathmore Watercolor paper. I tried two color series, each with three similar colors.
Die cut the card front (Classic Crest Solar White 80lb) and lay it over the watercolor background. I picked the green one as it goes better with the leaves pattern.
Here is the close-up look of the watercolor background.
Stamped the sentiment and assemble the pieces together. My son loves bubble gums recently. He actually got a bubble gum as a reward of getting his yellow belt in Tae Kwon Do test. So this bubble gum machine sticker is a perfect fit for his birthday card.
