Are you an inside hotel camper or a tent camper? I’m a hotel camper. But I could not help making a cute little scene card with these little bears sitting by the camp fire.
I wanted to have two little bears by the campfire with their cute little lanterns so I gave mirror image stamping a try. I stamped all of my images on to Cougar White cardstock. To get the mirror image of the bear I used my stamp platform and stamped on a piece of the stamp packaging then carefully turned it over to transfer to my white cardstock. The image was not as clear and crisp as I would have liked so I took a black pen and drew over the lines to crisp them up. It was so much fun I’m thinking I will be doing it again very soon.
Start with a 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 piece of Basis cardstock in Grey Rub over the grey cardstock with a anti-static tool then stamp stars randomly all over the top of the cardstock with Versamark Ink. Heat emboss with gold embossing powder.
Cut some stripes of Pop Tone cardstock in Jelly Bean Green and cut some waves to look like different hills. Add some ink to the edge of the cardstock.
Attach the cardstock with the embossed stars to the top of the card base. Using Adhesive foam dots attach the green hills on the bottom of the cardstock base.
Now is the fun part attaching the cut out images at different spots on the hills.
I thought the card needed a matching envelop so I took a Basis envelop in Burgundy. On the flap I stamped in Versa Mark a few clusters of stars and heat embossed with gold embossing powder.
On the front I stamped a sign and added Gone Camping with Versafine ink in Onyx black and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.
