Grey is Still The New Black!
I was recently commissioned to design and create Black Tie wedding invitations for a client in Dallas. A couple of details the bride indicated to me upon our early consultation was her desire to have a calligraphed and letterpressed invitation incorporating the colors white, grey and silver. I selected various papers from Cut Card Stock’s collection to use and aid in production of this sophisticated suite.
Perhaps one of the most useful papers in my shop is Kraft Chipboard. I religiously use this paper as a base for cutting letterpress papers on my heavy-duty Challenge paper cutter.
By using such, I get clean and crisp cut sheets every time! Keep in mind; however, if you don’t have a quality cutting machine at your disposal, Cut Card Stock can cut paper for you per your specifications quickly and reasonably!
The other papers I selected from Cut Card Stock were Curious Metallic Silver for the inner envelope liners, and Gmund New Grey for the Rehearsal Dinner Invitation and Response Cards (which were included in the suite).
They look great!
I wish I have a machine like that, I admire the letterpress effect very much. Well done!
