Hey, everyone, it’s Linda McClain again with just a real simple and fun holiday project – vintage Christmas gift tags. But first, are you having as much fun with this holiday countdown as I am? I’m loving all these projects and just honored to be among such talented paper crafters.
My favorite Christmas decorations are the ones that remind me of my Midwest childhood Christmas. Grandma Heaton got her decorations from the Ben Franklin Five and Dime on the city square (you may have to be over 50 to remember those). Ah, man, if we could only walk into one of those today and pick from their isles. Well, you might get something like these.
I found some wonderful vintage embellishments over at Etsy.com, added some mini Christmas trees from Fancy Pants Designs, a sweet stamp of a sled, a sentiment stamp, some seam binding for ribbon, and, of course, glitter. It wouldn’t be vintage Christmas without tons of glitter.
The rich colors from the Flavours Gourmet collection were perfect for my tags. And mini glue dots made adding the embellishments a breeze.
That’s it for me, but Amber has a fun project for you tomorrow. Hint: I didn’t know CutCardStock.com carried a paper with an embossed woodgrain! Oh, more shopping for me.

Presentation matters! Prettily wrapped gifts make receiving the gift all the more exciting. Even a very inexpensive gift, presented in a special way, makes the gift even more thrilling to receive. I found some very inexpensive, but YUMMY smelling tealights but they were in such mundane and insignificant packaging. I’ll bet with a little bit…
