Folded Note Cards Are Just The Ticket

Carol from the Design Team here with a card using the Malmero Perle A2 invitation set . My Father In Law was recently in a play and I made this card to wish him luck. I didn’t have anything that said “break a leg” so I went with this ticket themed card. 

I started with a blank A2 invitation and matching envelope. Using a Tim Holtz embossing folder, I debossed  two “tickets” and then trimmed and distressed them with black ink: 

I couldn’t decide between these tickets and some tickets I cut using my Cricut Expression so I decided to use both types/  I trimmed a coordinating chevron print paper to fit my card and cut a smaller black panel then used Glue Dots to attach the tickets. 

Finished up with some turquoise washi tape just to add a pop of color. If you’ve seen any of my recent projects, you know that I like to coordinate the envelope to match the card. This time was no different. I used some of the same washi tape along with some glitter paper scraps to decorate the envelope that matched my blank card:
