Happy Memorial Day! For me, this is the official start of summer. J This time around, I thought an idea for Father’s Day may be in order.
Supplies: Brown Bag KraftCardstock, Pop Tones Wild Cherrycardstock, Curious Metallic’s Cryogen White cardstock, Tuxedo Black Ink by Memento, Tulip ink by Close to My Heart, Car stamp and die by Taylored Expressions, tire tracks and sentiment by close to my heart, patterned paper and bottle cap by Close to My Heart (Cruisin’ collection), Silver spica pen by Atyou, 3D foam circles by Paper Studio.
Create an A2 card with Pop Tones Wild Cherry cardstock. Cut 4” x 5 ¼” panel from Brown Bag Kraft cardstock.
Using die cutting machine, cut car from Curious Metallic’s Cryogen White cardstock. Stamp car outline in Tuxedo Black Ink, then stamp car body in Tulip Ink. Outline bumpers and license plate with the silver Spica pen.
Stamp tire tracks using black ink on Kraft cardstock. To make sure my tire tracks lined up, I laid the car down on the kraft layer higher than I wanted to place it, then stamped each track to line up with a tire.
Adhere 4” x 1 ½” patterned paper to bottom of card. Distress edges of panel with black ink. Adhere to card front.
Cut a 3 ½” x ½” strip of Cryogen White cardstock. Stamp sentiment in Tuxedo black ink. Cut 3 ¾” x ¾” strip from Wild Cherry cardstock. Mat sentiment to Wild Cherry cardstock and adhere to card front
Using two 3D foam dots, add bottlecap to left side of sentiment strip. Adhere car to card front using 3D foam dots.
