Feminine Fall-Themed Scrapbook Layout

Fall is my favorite season, and I love creating fall-themed scrapbook layouts. I wanted feminine fall-themed scrapbook layout, so I added fall-colored flowers and doilies made using White, Burgundy, and Orange cardstocks from CutCardStock.

Supplies

Creating the Doilies and Flowers

To create the doilies, I cut out 3 doilies from each of the Burgundy and Orange cardstocks.

Next, I cut out the flowers using the flower die from the White cardstock. This required several rounds so that I would have enough petals to build up the flowers to achieve a 3D effect.

Next, I inked the floral die cut pieces. I used Distress Oxide Inks in Saltwater Taffy, Dried Marigold and Candied Apple as well as 49 and Market ink in Sunrise to ink the petals. For the center of the flowers, I used 49 and Market Ink in Pineapple. Next, I assembled the flowers by gluing 3 of the petal pieces together and then adding the center. I ended up creating roughly 10 flowers to use on the layout.

Assembling the Layout

First, I added a border using pattern paper. I achieved this by cutting about 1/2 inch off either side of the White Cardstock so that the pattern paper would be visible and adhered them together. Next, I added a large kraft doily from my stash and photograph to the center of the layout. Then, I added the die cut doilies and flowers in 3 clusters around the photograph.

For additional texture, I added a wood veneer tag and pumpkins as well as fabric hearts and flowers. I also added a fabric piece around the photograph and through the wood veneer tag. Additionally, I added fall-themed die cuts to the clusters.

To complete this feminine Fall-themed scrapbook layout, I added the acrylic title “Happy Fall Y’all” with an acrylic leaf.

Fall layouts don’t have to be all pumpkins and leaves! By mixing soft feminine touches with warm autumn colors, doilies, and florals, you can create a layout that feels cozy and beautiful. I hope this inspires you to add your own florals and doilies to create a uniquely feminine fall-themed layout…and one you’ll be sure to “fall” for!
