Create the Slimline Card Base
Cut and score Neenah Classic Crest Solar White to create a standard slimline card base. Die cut a decorative slimline frame from Neutral Twine Kraft Cardstock and set aside.
Ink Blend the Background
Cut a slimline panel from Pop-Tone SnoCone Cardstock. Place the cloud stencil over the panel and lightly blend Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink to create soft clouds across the sky. Add the pine trees using masking paper to protect the lower portion of the panel. Stencil pine trees along the horizon line using Evergreen Bough Distress Oxide Ink. Vary the placement and intensity of the ink to create depth and dimension.
Die Cut the Camper, Trailer and Assemble the Scene
Die cut the camper and trailer pieces from:
Assemble the die cut pieces with Bearly Art Glue.
Adhere the cloud and tree background panel to the card base.
Attach the camper and trailer near the bottom of the card, creating a fun road-trip scene.
Add the Sentiment
Die cut the sentiment “Adventure Awaits“ from Pop-Tone Black Licorice Cardstock and adhere it across the top portion of the card. Add a small bird die cut from Pop-Tone Black Licorice Cardstock to complete the outdoor theme. I added a few black confetti for a finishing touch.
