Thinking of You Floral Card

Hello Crafty Friends – Annie here with a thinking of you floral card to share with you today! Let’s create a heartfelt greeting featuring a bright bouquet of layered flowers and a sweet “Thinking of You” sentiment.

Supplies

Cardstock

Other Supplies

Create the Card Base and Die Cut the Background

Cut a piece of Neutral Twine Kraft Cardstock to layer on a A2 card base (4¼” x 5½”). Cut a panel of Pop-Tone SnoCone Cardstock using a lattice-style die that’s slightly smaller and adhere it to the card front, leaving a narrow border of Twine visible around the edges. This creates a soft, decorative backdrop for the floral arrangement.

Die Cut the Vase

Cut the vase shape from Smoke Textured Cardstock. Lightly blend Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide Ink around the edges to add dimension and depth.

Create the Foliage

Die cut the leaves:

Blend a small amount of Evergreen Bough Distress Oxide Ink onto the leaves to enhance the texture and create additional shading.

Adhere the vase toward the lower center of the card front using foam tabs for extra dimension. The leaves were adhered behind the vase, allowing them to extend outward from both sides.

Make the Flowers

Die cut the flower petals:

Add ink blending to the petals:

Layer multiple flower pieces together using foam tabs and liquid adhesive to create full, dimensional blooms. Cut flower centers from Adobo Textured Cardstock and lightly ink them for added detail.

Arrange the Bouquet

The flowers are adhered onto the leaves in varing the heights and overlap the blooms for a natural bouquet effect.

Add the Sentiment & Embellish

Die cut the “Thinking of You” sentiment from Pop -Tone Razzleberry Cardstock and layer it onto the vase. The bright pink sentiment coordinates beautifully with the floral arrangement and becomes the focal point of the card. Finish the card by adding several Crystal Rhinestones around the bouquet and background for a touch of sparkle and elegance.

This thinking of you floral card is full of texture, dimension, and cheerful springtime colors. Thank you for stopping by today. I hope this project inspires you to pull out your favorite flower dies and colorful CutCardStock cardstock to create a card that brightens someone’s day! 🌸💛🌼
