Getting Started

I started by pulling all the cardstock I wanted to use.

Next, Die cut all the flowers and leaves layers. The leaves I did in Pearl Textured Green Curry Cardstock and Scottish Highlands Textured Cardstock. I did the largest flower in Hydrangea Purple Textured Cardstock and Plum Purple Textured Cardstock, the medium flower in Pink Lemonade Cardstock and Razzleberry Cardstock. The small flowers in Light Yellow Cardstock and Yellow Jacket Textured Cardstock. I die cut all the flower centers in Orange Fizz Cardstock

Then, I trimmed down the Beetle Black Textured Cardstock and Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock to 4-1/4″ x5-1/2″. I ran the Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock through my embossing folder for some texture. I then trimmed it down a 1/4″ to create a nice border for my layer.

A bit of ink on the edges of the flower petals create some interest.

I then, adhered the flower layers using some Bearly Art glue.

Next, I adhered the leaves layers using some Bearly Art glue

I die cut the sentiment three times. Once from Beetle Black Textured Cardstock and twice from  Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock and adhered them all together to create a nice sturdy piece.

Assembling

Now it’s time to assemble the card. I adhered the embossed layer onto the black layer. Then onto my card base.

I arrange the flowers and leaves how I want them, pop-up all the flowers and adhere the leaves directly onto the card front panel.

I adhere the sentiment and some gems to finish my card.

Here are a few close ups of the flowers and leaves.
