Hey everybody, happy Wednesday – I hope you’re having a great week and you’re embracing December. It sure got here fast! Are you a fan of the Winter season? I sure am! Leslie here with you today, sharing a tutorial for making an A2 side-folding Winter-themed card. I started with a Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White A2 Folded Card Base which I use frequently. They are such a time-saver! I also used Neenah Classic Crest 165# Solar White for the base snowflake frame. I also brought in Lessebo Moss Green, Silver Glitter, Bright Silver Foil and Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White. OMGoodness, this turned out so pretty… it’s simple but sure packs a punch!
Card Base & Layers
Grab a Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White A2 Folded Card Base.
Next, cut two layering panels from Lessebo Moss Green, one for the front and one for the inside.
Also cut a layering panel from Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White for the inside.
Create Focal & Embellishment
Cut the three snowflake frame layers from Neenah Classic Crest 165# Solar White, Silver Glitter and Bright Silver Foil. Before adhering them together, mist the Solar White layer in green for a little interest. The green layer goes on the bottom, then the silver glitter layer, and finally the silver foil layer.
I cut one extra partial snowflake from silver glitter to use in the corner of the inside white panel.
Adhere Layers
Start by adhering one of the green layering panels to the card front, and then adhere the snowflake frame.
Afterwards, adhere the glitter snowflake to the upper right corner of the inside white panel and adhere the panel to the second green layer.
Stamp Sentiments
Now stamp the front sentiment in white ink in the lower right corner of the frame.
In similar fashion, stamp the inside sentiment on the white panel in green ink.
Complete Winter-Themed Card
Add a few tiny gray gemstones to the card front.
Finally, adhere the inside panel to the inside of the card base, and your Winter-themed card is complete.
