Chipmunk in the Pumpkin Patch

Hello friends, Melissa here! I hope you’re all doing well and ready for an adorable card!

Let’s gather our supplies first!

First off, there’s a lot of die cutting involved. Below are all my pieces.

Once you get all your shapes cut out get them assembled, add some details with inking or gel pens.

Next we’re going to design the base. I made a slimline card which gave me a lot of real estate to create. I started with a clouds stencil and ink blended in the skyline. Then filled in the bottom with green ink and die cut strips of grass.

You don’t need to worry about getting perfect blending either! The main focal point will cover up unsightly blending and blemishes. I did do some contrasting green to give some depth. And now we can put it together.

I matted the focal piece on black and adhered to a Kraft card base. Doesn’t this look fabulous?! I love how this turned out and I hope it inspires you to create something fun today.
