Hello friends! Melissa here with a super easy card. I love the Waffle Flower postage dies. These help make some really quick cards that are so cool. The dies are so versatile they can make any occasion special.
Let’s gather our supplies:
- Lessebo – Coffee Bean
- Neenah Classic Crest – Natural White
- Papers, dies, and other supplies
As I mentioned, I used the postage dies from Waffle Flower. So I started out by die cutting the postage die base from Coffee Bean card stock.
I then took the layering die available, and die cut few pieces of decorative paper. In my card, I used Sweet Friend from Brutus Monroe. I used both sides of the paper.
I adhered the layers down to the base. If you look close, you’ll see that I used the “back side” – this helps save on paper and you could easily make a few of these cards because of how the blocks die cuts out.
It’s at this point that I was so enjoying the process of die cutting and figuring out how I wanted my card to look, that I forgot to keep taking pictures. I die cut some images from floral dies and cut out a sentiment to continue to decorate my postage base.
I pulled out another die from Kat Scrappiness to give me a big postage base! This I adhered to a card base made from the Natural White card stock.
Cut up the “stamps” and arrange on the card. Arrange them onto the base and then add a 3D rose sticker and a scrap piece of paper lace.
I do hope you enjoyed my card and that it inspires you to create something today. Let the paper do the work, we all have the stash of great decorative papers. Have a great day!
