Hello CutCardStock friends, Natalie here with you today! I have some fun treat containers for you today. I used some fun spring colors patterned papers and tags from Echo Park. The colors Blossom (on sale this month) and Wild Salmon are the perfect match for the patterned papers I used. I am currently obsessed with these two colors!
Here is a look at the three treat containers I made. There is Wild Salmon in the front, Salt Water (on sale) on the right and then Light Yellow on the left.
These treat containers came together so easily. To make the actual container I used a die that I have, cut it out twice, glued them on the bottom and sides and they were ready to be decorated. I used some tag dies that I have and cut out some of my own tags. I also used pieces that came with the matching ephemera pack.
Here is a closer look at the first one. Made with that beautiful Salt Water Blue, I used a rick rack die that I have had in my collection for years (but still as cute as ever) and alternate patterned paper, and it created this cute border on the bottom of my container.
Now a look at the Light Yellow one. Doesn’t that plaid patterned paper look so cute with the yellow?!
The last one happens to be my favorite with the Wild Salmon. The cute carrots on the patterned paper are a perfect match and I just love it.
I used a mixture of a rick rack and skinny organza ribbon to tie them closed. Which color is your favorite? I think my grandkids are going to love them!
