Postage Floral Silhouette Card

Hey everybody, happy Friday! I hope you’ve had a great week! Have you jumped on the postage collage bandwagon yet? I think they are so neat and have collected a few sets. Leslie here, sharing a tutorial for a postage floral silhouette card. I used our Savoy Brilliant White Cotton cardstock for the postage collage panel. Then I added some Yellow Jacket and Beetle Black Canvas Textured cardstock to the mix. And, of course, I used some Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock for the inside panel. A nice well-rounded mix of cardstock, so let’s get started!

Create Focal Panel for Postage Floral Silhouette Card

Die cut a postage collage panel from Savoy Brilliant White Cotton cardstock. Using the coordinating postage collage stencil, ink the panel with distress inks. A blend of mermaid lagoon, twisted citron, cracked pistachio and fossilized amber worked really well for this card.

Stamp some floral silhouette images in each section in black ink.

Cut Card Base & Layering Panels

Cut a standard A2 size side-folding card base from Yellow Jacket Canvas Textured cardstock.

Additionally, die cut two postage edge panels from Beetle Black Canvas Textured cardstock.

And finally, cut a sentiment panel for the inside from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock.

Adhere Layers

Glue one of the black postage edge panels to the front of the card base.

Next, for the inside panel, glue the white sentiment panel to the other black postage edge panel. I felt like that panel needed a little ‘something’ so I adhered a strip of the yellow cardstock across the top.

Add Sentiments

Stamp the front sentiment on a scrap piece of Solar White in black ink and cut it with the coordinating die.

Afterwards, stamp another sentiment and floral silhouette image directly on the inside panel in black ink.

Complete Postage Floral Silhouette Card

Adhere the postage collage panel to the front of the card base with foam tape and add several small gold pearls.

Finally, adhere the inside panel to the inside of the card base, and your postage silhouette friendship card is complete.

Summing up, these are the other products I used:
