Easter Flowers Layout

Growing flowers is easy using multiple shades of coordinating cardstock and your creative imagination. I created some flowers in Cricut Design Space with Easter photos of my granddaughters in mind. If you don’t have a Cricut or cutting machine, you can easily cut flower shapes to create your own blooms.

I used 12 different shades of CutCardStock to complete all these beautiful flower layers and stems. I have the list of all the colors used below. The Basis and Pop Tone sample packs were perfect for finding coordinating shades. I also used the Curious Metallic in Champagne. Oh so shimmery and so pretty!

The base page has a triangle of Jet Stream cardstock that I cut in half diagonally. My cutter is not long enough so I had to use a ruler and pencil to draw the diagonal line and then just used scissors to cut it. The white/black polka dot paper was cut down to an 11×11 inch square.

The second patterned paper was cut in 1.5″ strips. Both patterned papers are from Illustrated Faith, She Blooms collection.

I filmed a YouTube process video so you can see me put this layout together. Although it doesn’t look like it, it was really easy to put together.

Step by Step:

First cut and assemble flowers and stems from cardstock. Use at least two shades for each flower to create dimension. The white “twirly” was added interest. You could also add buttons, glitter glue or even brads.

Next cut one piece of 12×12 cardstock diagonally and adhere to the 12×12 base.

Cut down a piece of patterned paper to 11″ square (an inch off two sides) and adhere in the center of the base.

Cut & adhere both 1.5″ paper strips to the top and bottom of the patterned paper listed above.

Arrange your photos, flowers, title and any other embellishments to complete the page.
