Valentine Heart Boxes

Create the Pieces
Find a box pattern to cut the bases out. Tags, Bags Boxes and more for the Cricut is perfect for this.

Individual Valentine Boxes
The process is pretty much the same for these boxes. Assemble the box and decorate!
Use a floral stencil and ink blend using Kitch Flamingo Distress ink on the Cougar 80 lb. White base. Cut the heart from Lucky Love Impress Lit Folder from 80 lb Cougar White Cardstock and coat with Kitch Flamingo Embossing Glaze.
Cut the base from Red Pepper Cardstock. Use a heart die of your choice and cut the decoration from Classic Linen Gold Pearl Cardstock.
Gold emboss the sentiment on a strip made with 80 lb Cougar Cardstock. After assembling the Valentine box, glue the heart on and add the sentiment.
This is my favorite box, made by ink blending a heart stencil with rainbow distress inks! The base and the sentiment are cut with 80 lb. Cougar White Cardstock.
Die cut the sentiment and cover the bottom with VersaMark ink and add gold embossing powder. Heat set the sentiment.
Check out the darling dry embossed heart I used as a base for this one! The box is cut from Pop-Tone Razzleberry Cardstock.
You might recognize the embossed heart on this one. I used the same folder as the one posted above. Ink the folder and emboss with Pop-Tone Bubble Gum Cardstock Cardstock. The heart box is cut from Bubble Gum Cardstock as well.
Decorate your Valentines Tree
Die Cut the word Love from Gold Cardstock twice for each ornament. Cut one backwards so the back is also gold cardstock. Sandwich between two Cougar Die Cuts and add twine to hang them on the tree.
