Embossed Backgrounds with Shimmer

Greetings Friends. It’s Teri here from Teris Mailbox sharing more embossed background cards using amazing Shimmery Stardream Metallic Cardstock. Check out the dimension and texture of the backgrounds set off by the layered die-cut images and sentiments. So easy and such great cards for weddings. Matter of a fact, my son and his fiancĂ© swiped all four for upcoming events!

Check out the shimmery goodness

I do have a YouTube Video here documenting the process:

Emboss a 4.25 x 5.5 inch piece of Stardream Metallic Neptune Cardstock. This is a gorgeous deep smoky blue cardstock. Dry emboss it using the 3D Embossing Folder – Arched from Sizzix. Use Embellishment Mousse from Nuvo and blend over the background to highlight the background. Attach to an A2 base made from Cougar 80lb White Cardstock.

Die cut the sentiment plus the leaves (Simon Says Stamps) from Stardream Metallic Silver Cardstock.

Lagoon Stardream Metallic Cardstock is perfect for this snowy embossed background. After embossing the background, swipe silver Nuvo Mousse over lightly to highlight the snowflakes. Cut the snowflake (SimonSaysStamps) and the sentiment Hero Arts from Stardream Metallic Crystal Cardstock at least twice and layer for dimension.

More fun Embossed Backgrounds

This card is easy to do. Simply emboss a flower folder with Stardream Metallic Ruby Cardstock, swipe with Silver Nuvo Mousse, add a sentiment and some bling and you are off to the wedding!

Now for the final card

Emboss a 4.25 x 5.5 piece of Stardream Metallic Opal Cardstock with the Sizzix Arched Embossing folder and swipe with gold Nuvo Mousse. Die cut the sentiment and the lanterns with Gold Glitter Cardstock and apply to the card front with additional bling!

I hope you have enjoyed my wedding card tour. My last post here was for Floral Embossing Folders. Check out that post here and the video Here.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I’d love to have you follow/subscribe on my social media sites Instagram, Facebook, Blogger and You Tube.  Be well. Be creative!
