Winter Gazebo

Winter Gazebo

I am here with you again with another adorable winter decor idea from SVGcuts.com, a Winter Gazebo. Snow, glitter, all the sparkle that we love about winter, and its a light! This was such a big project so lets get right to it.

Winter Gazebo Cardstock:

I used a lot of paper to create this. As I started I ended up switching out the gold for Silver Glitter.

Stardream Metallic Lagoon, Stardream Metallic Neptune, Stardream Metallic Crystal(White), POW Silver Glitter, Silk Glitter Opulent Opal, and for supporting elements Cougar White Cardstock.

I broke this project up into 3 elements: The base, the roof, and final part – the Gazebo.

The Base:

Using a wood grain embossing folder and Catherine Pooler Skylight ink, I added details to the base accent pieces. I assembled the base, adhering the accent pieces with some foam tape so they popped out.

The Roof:

This part is a bit more involved. Always cut everything out before you start assembling. Cutting as you go is more complicated and takes longer. I used Stardream Neptune as the base of the roof. I wanted to keep the white snow look but wanted that silvery blue coming through. Pow Silver for the accent pieces looks really pretty with the Neptune around it.

Adding the layers of the white and then the glitter white accent snow to the bottom pieces. The snow pieces hanging over, I thought would be fun to add fake sparkly snow too. I used wet glue, rubbed across the area and dipped and pressed into the fake snow. I love how it looks!

The Gazebo:

This part is the biggest piece, its not hard, it was more bulky and odd to work with. I used the Lagoon as the base pieces, the Crystal as accent pieces, Vellum as the backing, and Pow Silver for the snowflake pieces. To make this easier, I glued down the vellum to the base pieces before gluing them all together. I added the white and silver accents once the base pieces were completely dry.

To close the bottom I glued the base on, flipped it over and glued in the inside base. With the bottom closed I glued the gazebo onto the base, popped the roof on top. It is now the time to embellish!

I added a silver bow, blue gems, more snow and some sequins! Keeping the embellishments to a minimum so it wasn’t too crazy. I wanted it to just be pretty and be glittery with sparkles.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you find all the inspiration to do all the things!
