How to create an easy thank you card with lots of shimmer!
Hello, CutCardStock fans! Leslie here, and thanks so much for joining me on the blog today! Do you need some pretty thank you cards in your stash that are easy to make?! The card I’m sharing with you today features gorgeous Glitter cardstock paired with some pretty Stardream Metallic and Basis cardstock! You can’t go wrong with this combo!
CUT:
*Cut a standard A2 size top-folding card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock and a layering panel for the inside from Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock.
*Cut a layering panel for the front from Stardream Metallic Amethyst cardstock as well as an embellishing strip for the inside.
*Cut layering panels for the front and inside from Basis Dark Purple cardstock as well as an embellishing strip for the inside.
*Die cut two lacy panels from Silver Glitter cardstock as well as an embellishing strip for the inside. Cut the ends off of each die cut – these will butt together to make one long panel.
*Stamp and die cut the lavender bud as well as three additional plain die cuts, and adhere them all together for dimension.
ASSEMBLE:
*Adhere the amethyst and dark purple panels together, adhere the glitter panel and adhere the lavender bud.
*Adhere the amethyst, glitter and dark purple embellishing strips to the inside panel, and adhere the panel to the dark purple layering panel.
STAMP:
*Stamp front sentiment in purple ink on a white cardstock scrap, trim and layer if desired, and adhere to the front panel.
*Stamp inside sentiment in purple ink on the inside panel.
FINISHING TOUCHES:
*Adhere front panel to card base and add white enamel dots.
*Adhere inside panel to inside of card base. Voila, project finished! 😉

Accessories: Bearly Art precision craft glue, Tombow Mono permanent adhesive, Eyelet Outlet White Enamel Dots
