I Fall in Love With You Card!
Hi crafty friends, Crystal here to share a fun or sweet valentine’s day card which ever you prefer. I will be making mine a fun one. The added sentiment in the inside is what makes the card funny. I hope everyone is having a good start to 2021!
This card was made using three different colors of Astrobright card stock – Re-entry Red, Planetary Purple, Pulsar Pink.
I started the card with a 4 1/4″ X 5 1/2″ stitched die cut rectangle out of Re-entry Red card stock.
I trimmed a piece of Planetary Purple card stock down to 4″ X 5 1/4″ rectangle.
I die cut a fancy border frame out of Pulsar Pink card stock then die cut it out with a stitched smaller stitched rectangle.
I adhered all of the layers as shown in the picture above using a tape runner.
I then die cut a stitched square out of the Re-entry Red card stock to stamp my sentiment onto.
I stamped my sentiment “I FALL IN LOVE WITH YOU MORE AND MORE EVERY DAY” in the center of the red die cut square.
This is the sentiment that makes the card funny. “EXCEPT YESTERDAY. YESTERDAY YOU WERE PRETTY ANNOYING.” So if you are going for a more sweet Valentine’s Day card you could just leave this sentiment off of the inside of the card.
I really like the way this card came out. I’m planning on giving it to my husband for Valentine’s Day he will love it!
