Hot Chocolate Gift Tag Idea.

I crafty friends!

Who is getting started on their holiday gifts already? Are you someone who gets it all done early or waits till the last minute? I get really excited in October and November to get started but normally get nothing done and I’m rushing in the middle of December to get everyone’s gifts.

Today I have a cute little gift box to share packed with stuff for hot chocolate would make a perfect teacher or neighbor gift or really a great gift for anyone during these cold months.

I started with a piece of Cougar white card stock and trimmed it down and then used a tag die to cut the top out to make it a tag for my gift.

I stamped the sentiment with “Happy hot chocolate season” in Chinese Red ink centered towards the bottom.

I stamped the hot chocolate image in Tuxedo Black Memento Dye ink centered towards the top of the tag.

I colored the image in with alcohol markers. It’s such a small image this went very fast.

I used Astrobright card stock in red to make a box. I measured all for sides scored them and adhered the flaps with double sided tape.

Now I have a box with a lid. It’s time to fill it with stuff for hot chocolate like mini marshmallows, peppermint sticks, chocolate chips, etc.

I tied the box shut with a ribbon and attached the tag with the same ribbon. On the back side you can write a little note or just who its for.

Thanks for stopping by today!
