Hey crafty friends! How is your October going? It’s flying by for me the weather has been crazy freezing cold then hot. I can’t tell if its fall or summer. I never can have enough “thank you” cards around they always come in hand to have laying around.
This was a fairly simple card to make but has lots of small details to make it look like it took forever to make.
I started by die cutting a stitched 4 1/4″ X 5 1/2″ rectangle out of Kraft card stock.
I used a double sided die which helps the process move along faster only having to run it thought the machine once. I die cut both sides out of Ivory Royal Sundance card stock.
I added Fuchsia ink to the bottom layer with a ink blending tool. I then added Pink Tulip to the top layer with a ink blending tool.
I stamped the sentiment “Thank you” onto the the same Kraft card stock trimmed to 4 1/4″ X 1″ that I die cut out in the first step.
I adhered everything together in the order shown in the picture above with wet glue. This card is so fast to make but I really like the simple details.
Thanks for stopping by today!
