Sunflower Hostess Gift Set

Are you in need of a unique way to say “thank you”? Birgit here with you today and I’ve got a lovely sunflower themed gift set that I made using supplies found in the CutCardstock store.

I created a pillar candle holder with a coordinating thank you card that you can give to your favorite hostess, featuring Royal Sundance Felt in Natural and MirriSparkle Gold Glitter card stock. Let’s begin with a peek at the supplies I used:

I started by cutting the Elizabeth Craft Designs die, “Oriental Card” by Moda Scrap, twice out of Natural, Royal Sundance Felt Card Stock. This card stock has a rich, velvet feel, yet its 110# weight makes this strong and sturdy enough for handling.

Next, I scored them both in the center, snipped the center folding part of the die and folded all the score lines.

Glue the box together using Tombow Mono Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue.

I cut the MirriSparkle Gold Glitter Card Stock using an Elizabeth Craft Designs Stitched Scallop Circle and adhered it to the candle box using more liquid glue. I then embellished it using flowers I purchased at Hobby Lobby. I also tied a piece of twine around the candle, adding a tag and another flower.

I created the card using a simple design to finish off this cute sunflower themed hostess gift.

Cut Cardstock Products Used: Royal Sundance Felt, Natural Card Stock, MirriSparkle Gold Glitter Card Stock, Tombow Mono Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue.
