How to create an awesome masculine card!

Hello, CutCardStock fans! Leslie here, and thanks so much for joining me on the blog today! Who doesn’t need masculine cards in their stash – and are masculine cards easy or difficult for you? The card I’m sharing with you today is a simple design featuring Royal Sundance Felt Natural cardstock paired with Pop-Tone Black Licorice cardstock! This neutral combination is one of my favorites!

*Cut a standard A2 top-folding card base from Royal Sundance Felt Natural cardstock with textured side up, along with a slightly smaller panel for the inside with smoother side up and a square die cut with smoother side up.
*Cut a layering panel for the front from Pop-Tone Black Licorice cardstock along with a slightly smaller layering panel for the inside, a wide embellishing strip for the front and a narrow embellishing strip for the inside.
*Cut a background piece for front from map patterned paper along with an embellishing strip for the inside.

*Layer the panels and add embellishing strips.
*Stamp the image and sentiment in black ink on the square die cut, and stamp the inside sentiment in black ink.

*Adhere the stamped square die cut to the front panel, and adhere the panel to the card base.
*Affix several black gemstones to the stamped square die cut for a little interest.
*Adhere the inside panel to the inside of the card base.

  1. Great card Leslie! Thanks for the inspiration. Masculine cards are more difficult for me and I do need to make more of them.
