Pumpkin Patch | Raechelle

Hello! Today I’m featuring two wonderful CutCardStock Colors; Vanilla Bean Brown and Adobo on this layout along with a free cutfile from Paper Issues.

I just adore this brown color and it was a perfect color to use for the title of this layout.

To add more pizzaz and create a focal point, I duplicated the pumpkin portion of the cut file using the Adobo cardstock.

Then I traced a backing and cut 5 strips of 1″ patterned paper. Next I cut some fringe onto each piece and then adhered in a layered manner on the traced backing starting at the top and working my way down.

When the strips are adhered to the base, then place pumpkin cutfile on top and trim edges.

Follow by applying some green paint to the stem of the pumpkin.

Place completed pumpking atop of cutfile, fluff up some fringe, add a leaf and some twine to complete the pumpkin.

That’s it! The process is simple and adds both visual interest and dimension to a cutfile.

We’d love to see your projects featuring CutCardStock, so be sure to use the tag #CutCardStcok in your Instagram posts!

You can find the wonderful colors of cardstock I have used along with so much more by visiting the CutCardStock store. Happy shopping! 🙂
