Hi crafty friends! I love making cards for friends for no reason at all. In the last few months, I have enjoyed sending cards out hoping they bring a smile to someone’s face. How are you with mailing cards? Do you make them and remember to get them into the mail?
The first step in making this card was I die cut a large stitched rectangle out of Pop-Tone card stock in Grape Jelly and Blue Raspberry. I then die cut a smaller rectangle out of Pop-Tone card stock in Wild Cherry and Berrylicious.
I stamped wavy lines onto a piece of Pop-Tones card stock Cotton Candy with three different shades of pink to add an ombré effect.
I did the same thing onto Berrylicious card stock for the same ombré look but in blue instead of pink.
I used a stitched rectangle die with rounded corners, and a circle die to cut a circle out. On one card, I cut the circle out towards the top and one towards the bottom.
I ran the circles through my die cutting machine again with a smaller stitched circle die.
I stamped to stacks of gifts with Memento black ink and colored them in with alcohol markers. After I colored them in, I fussy cut them out.
I stamped the sentiment “YOUR FRIENDSHIP IS A Treasured Gift” on to Pop-Tone card stock in Grape Jelly and Blue Raspberry. I die cut both of them out with a stitched banner die.
Next, I adhered the smaller stitched rectangle centered over the larger one for both cards.
Then, I adhered the stamped rectangle card stock centered over the two rectangles.
For the first card, I added the small die-cut circle in the circle opening. I adhered the stack of gifts on the circle with foam tape. I adhered the sentiment banner on the lower part of the card.
For the second card, I did the same as the first card except I added the sentiment banner at the top of the card.
Thanks for stopping by today!
