How to Create a Luxurious Wedding Card

Hello, CutCardStock fans! Leslie here, and thanks so much for joining me on the blog today! Who doesn’t need the occasional wedding card in their stash? The ‘wedding season’ is approaching so let’s get prepared! The card I’m sharing with you today features Curious Metallic cardstock – and these colors are absolutely ah-maaazing together!

I cut a standard A2 size top fold card base from Classic Crest Baronial Ivory cardstock. I cut layers from Curious Metallic Violette cardstock and Classic Crest Baronial Ivory cardstock, along with strips from Curious Metallic Gold Leaf cardstock and Curious Metallic Violette cardstock to embellish the inside panel.

I stamped the flowers in Versamark on Curious Metallic Gold Leaf cardstock, heat embossed in gold, and die cut with the coordinating dies. I stamped the banner in purple ink on Classic Crest Baronial Ivory cardstock and die cut with the coordinating die. I stamped the inside sentiment in purple ink, adhered decorative strips to the inside panel and adhered those layers together.

I adhered the large embossed flower element and the banner to the front of the card and added some randomly-placed tiny iridescent gemstones. I adhered the small embossed flower to the bottom left corner of the inside panel and adhered the panel to the inside of the card base.
