Vellum Overlay Card

Hello, hello! Samantha here with a brand spanking new card to share with you today. I love vellum. It’s so soft and ethereal looking and it’s the perfect addition to any background; both simple and intricate.

Let’s begin! You will need the following:

To begin ink your floral stamps up using Memento Tuxedo Black ink  and stamp all over your white panel. Place Score-Tape on the insides of the flaps created by scoring your vellum. Remove the tape backing from just one of the strips of Score-Tape and adhere to the back of the panel.

Die cut your sentiment from your glitter cardstock and from your black cardstock. Glue the glitter die cut down first and then layer the black die cut over that slightly to the right. This will give you the appearance of a pretty golden border.

Stamp your sentiment onto the vellum with Versafine Onyx Black ink and heat set with clear embossing powder. Add gems.

Flip the vellum up and apply a bit of liquid adhesive behind the die cut and the gems. Remove the tape backing from the other piece of Score-Tape and attach firmly to the back of the panel. Press down on the vellum to make certain everything is secure.
Mount your panel to your card base and you’re done.
How easy is that! Make sure you share this blog post with your friends and don’t forget to subscribe. You will not want to miss the awesome projects our design team creates.
Until next time,
Samantha

Let’s be friends!
