Here’s part two of an earlier post Silver Congrats Card. It’s part two because I used the same layering dies, Birch Press Kaleidoscope, as I did in the part one post. This time I used different parts of the die-cut and of course different paper.
I love playing with metallic papers and the Rose Gold Foil is no exception. It’s stunning. These dies worked perfectly with the Rose Gold card stock. To keep the focus on the Rose Gold, I used Curious Metallic in Poison Ivory for the two layers underneath. The Poison Ivory is a nice shimmery ivory color to pair with the Rose Gold.
I loved the Rose Gold Foil so much that I saved all the little pieces that were removed from the layering die. I decided to add a few to the card front with sequins. The rest I saved in a bowl to use later.
For the card base, I used Curious Metallic in Ice Gold. It’s a nice sturdy card stock that has a little shimmer. I created a top-folding card and adhered all the pieces with Tombow Liquid Glue. I stamped the Gina K sentiment in the center and heat embossed it with Rose Gold embossing powder. Once again, I left the inside blank. Now I can use this card for a birthday, thinking of you, or perhaps a thank you card.
Only a few days left until the end of the month. Be sure to check out the CutCardStock shop to see all the gold and silver card stock that’s on sale until the end of this month.
Thanks so much for visiting. Until next time. . . . inky hugs!!
