For the Bride and Groom

Summer is the perfect time to get married and as a result there is a need for a stash of wedding cards. This elegant card would be great for any wedding.
I started with a piece of Classic Linen in Epic Black cardstock cut to 5.5″ x 8.5″. I scored it at 2 1/8″ and 6 7/8″.
I created the elegant edge by taping the die in place. I placed the top cutting pad on the die, only as afar as the score lines.  I repeated the steps and trimmed it.
I die cut 2 lace like pieces from Mirri Sparkle Glitter Cardstock, glued them to the fronts and trimmed the edge (near the folds).
I added a piece of Stardream Metallic Crystal cut to 5 3/8 x 4 1/8 to the center of the the card.
I cut rectangles of Epic Black, Bright Foil Cardstock Silver and Stardream Metallic Crystal cardstock. Then I used a corner punch to add detail to the corners. I layered them then added them in the inside, using glue on 2 sides only of the bottom layer. This leaves a pocket for money or checks.

I stamped Congratulations on Stardream Metallic Crystal cardstock and cut it out by hand. Then I glued it to a piece of Epic Black Cardstock and cut it out again. I love the look.
I attached it to the front of the card with a couple of foam squares.
I punched small holes in the front and tied the card closed with some black ribbon. I added 2 small wedding rings to the ribbon.
Thanks for stopping by. Don’t forget to check out all the silver and gold cardstock at  CutCardStock.com
