Fall Fun (or work)

With fall just beginning, I am thinking back to the times when our daughter would help her dad with the raking of the the leaves. I am sure she thought it was fun, although it was a lot of work. Her dad enjoyed it when she would help. I created this page using a variety of CutCardStock papers in brown, orange and gold (they happen to be on sale this month).

I used 2  8.5″ x11″ pieces of Stardream Metallic Gold Cardstock for the base of the layout. I like how the gold brings out the gold in the photos. The large photo is matted with both Basis Brown Cardstock and Curious Metallic Cognac. I also cut it in half to fit across the 2 pages. The other photos are matted in just Basis Brown Cardstock.

I created the leaves using Ranger’s Ink Refresher. You can check out the technique here. I cut the leaves out of Basis Brown, Gold, and Dark Orange and Pop Tones Tangy Orange and Orange Fizz. I die cut letters rom Pop Tones Tangy Orange. I will add journaling before adding it to the album.
Thanks for looking.
